Job Description

Our clienta leader in the life sciences and diagnostics industry is looking for a Document Specialistbased out ofIndianapolis IN.


Duration: Long Term Contract(Possibility Of Further Extension)

Pay Rate: $39.20/hr on W2

The Document Specialist plays a crucial role in developing editing and managing technical and sales training materials. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure documents meet regulatory compliance and brand standards while maintaining a consistent style. The specialist will facilitate the review process and ensure timely approvals contributing to effective training initiatives.

  • Create and revise instructorled training content job aids and technical guides.
  • Collaborate with content originators stakeholders and approvers to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor approval workflows and communicate process improvements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of training materials for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a content library and manage document accessibility for printing and digital use.
  • Participate in training development projects considering global materials and local needs.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts and print shops for material specifications and availability.
  • Proficient in technical writing and content development.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Acrobat Pro Photoshop) and Canva.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Stakeholder management and project management expertise.
  • Familiarity with brand standards and quality system regulations.
  • Meeting facilitation and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in a technical/scientific field technical writing English or a related area.
  • Preferred knowledge of adult learning theory and training practices.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Veeva Vault is a plus.
