What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Senior Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst with a strong background in Information Security GRC seeking to leverage advanced knowledge and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in IT Cybersecurity and thirdparty Governance and Risk Compliance activities ensuring alignment with industry best practices regulatory requirements and corporate standards while fostering collaboration across key stakeholders.

What youll do:

  • Lead/participate in internal IT Cybersecurity and thirdparty Governance and Risk Compliance (GRC) activities for various information systems and processes including but not limited to: CIS NIST CSF PCIDSS etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement through advanced knowledge of the Information Security risk management processes.
  • Oversee monitoring remediation and reporting of control gaps in the Information Security program areas.
  • Advise teams on risk management issues including risk and control gap assessments and documenting mitigation strategies.
  • Remain current with industry best practices frameworks and regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the processes associated with Information Security risk management.
  • Maintains Information Security policies standards procedures and technical security baselines.
  • Oversee the process to identify new assets and perform the risk evaluation process to determine the risk ranking.
  • Facilitate and liaise with technology leaders and key corporate risk groups (including Internal Audit Corporate Compliance Enterprise Risk Management Legal) to ensure GRC program awareness.
  • Keep informed of current risks security issues threats protection strategies or legal and regulatory developments.

What you have:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer and Information Systems Security or related discipline
  • Minimum 35 years Information Security GRC experience
  • CRISC CGEIT CRMA GRCP or other relevant security certifications

What youre good at:

  • Superior verbal written presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact discretion judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers and senior management and ability to communicate with others in stressful situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism following corporate standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport persuades others and gains understanding.
  • Ability and willingness to accept responsibility willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions including the persistence and willingness to take calculated risk and to stimulate market and sell new ideas within the organization.
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively lead and direct a diverse global team to achieve results through team efforts and the desire and ability to motivate persuade and direct the activities of others.
  • Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues to reach strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.
  • Ability to perform in a highpressure environment and/or crisis and render good decisions to resolve problems maintain safety and ensure adherence to the Corporate Code of Conduct

  • This position will mentor both direct and indirect employees.
  • Normal Office Environment.
  • Domestic/International travel may be required occasionally up to 20 per year.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs.
