Heres What You Need
Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Technology program (Required) Or
Completion of the requirements to be certified by RDMS (Required)
2 years related experience (Required)
ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers Upon Hire (Required)
Specific to OB/GYN:
o Must have experience doing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms to include the following:
o Normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy
o Fetal anatomy and biophysical profile
o Fetal anomalies including ectopic pregnancies
o Appropriate measurement techniques in transabdominal and endovaginal scanning
o Ability to identify what is expected to be seen in all three trimesters of pregnancy
o Must be comfortable verbally explaining all techniques and views to physician and patient
What You Will Do
Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate evaluate and record critical functional pathological and anatomical data.
Prepare room for examination greets patients and educates patients on procedural information as needed. May schedule and coordinate tests.
Process and manipulates images analyzes image quality and troubleshoots as needed. Properly records test results.
Operate cares for and maintains equipment. Prepares and maintains operational logs and documents malfunction as needed.
Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards. Stocks and orders supplies as needed.

Work hours: Full Time Days 8:00am5:00pm Monday through Thursday 8:00am2:30 on Friday) for 40 hrs/week.
