Description:
RPO Recruitments client a successful and growing civil and structural consulting firm in KZN is currently seeking to employ a hardworking and committed Senior Civil (Roads) Engineer who can join their team in Durban as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the design office within the Roads department
- Effective leadership and management of design production of engineering drawings preparation of tender documents
- Management of the delivery of projects from planning to close out
- Monthly reporting and cost control
- Training of technical staff
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
- Between 5 and 10 years experience in the transport infrastructure field with a key focus on planning pavement engineering geometric design stormwater drainage design contract administration and supervision of roads projects
- Experience in road rehabilitation design with a proven track record in managing a design office
Benefits:
- Salary: R600K/yr R840K/yr
