Job Description
Beal Law Firm an awardwinning 32 year old law practice dedicated exclusively to Family Law is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. We specialize in providing compassionate expert legal representation to clients navigating divorce child custody spousal support property division and other family law matters. If you are a detailoriented litigator with a passion for advocating for clients in family law disputes we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases including contested divorces custody disputes and domestic violence matters.
- Conduct legal research draft pleadings motions and discovery documents and prepare for hearings and trials.
- Manage all phases of litigation including pretrial preparation settlement negotiations and courtroom advocacy.
- Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide empathetic clear legal guidance.
- Maintain accurate case files and comply with all court deadlines and firm protocols.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience with a focus on family law strongly preferred.
- Strong legal research writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sensitivity to the emotional dynamics of family law cases.
- Proficiency with legal software and case management tools.
