Job Description
Were looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide support for a young adult with autism while their family is away. This is a temporary assignment from May 19th May 27th 7 AM 5 PM daily offering a structured schedule engaging activities and meaningful work in a supportive home environment.
Position Details:
Schedule: May 19th May 27th 7 AM 5 PM daily
Location: Private residence in Imperial MO
Pets: There is one dog in the home but it may stay elsewhere during the assignment.
Transportation Needs: The client attends school on select days and will need transportation to and from school (valid drivers license & reliable vehicle required).
Communication: The family requests regular text and picture updates to stay connected.
Pay: HHA: $17.50/hr CNA: $18.50/hr
Qualifications:
Must meet BrightStar Care requirements:
- Current Drivers License & Reliable Vehicle with Auto Insurance
- Current CPR Certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism and behavioral needs
- Patience compassion and strong observational skills
- Ability to assist with daily living tasks and behavioral support
- Comfortable with meal prep light housekeeping and laundry
The family requests a meetandgreet before the assignment to introduce the caregiver and go over routines. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference while ensuring peace of mind for the family!
