Job Description
Are you ready to bring transformative ideas to life and make a lasting impact on industries As a Product Design Engineer youll join a missiondriven team focused on creating innovative plumbing and roofing solutions that exceed customer expectations. Based in Collierville Tennessee youll collaborate with engineering leaders product managers and crossfunctional teams from manufacturing to supply chain and sales. Youll split your focus between designing new products and refining existing ones all while ensuring project success across cost time and quality benchmarks.
What Youll Do:
- Innovate and Execute: Create and refine product designs that serve our customers while strengthening our competitive edge.
- Lead Projects EndtoEnd: Drive product development from concept to commercialization partnering with diverse teams to ensure topnotch quality and performance.
- Master CAD & Engineering Tools: Use advanced modeling software and product data management tools to bring your designs to life ensuring every detail supports seamless manufacturing.
- Collaborate for Success: Build strong partnerships with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality functionality and manufacturability.
- Continuous Improvement: Embrace a culture of innovation applying the latest in design for manufacturability (DFM) and Lean principles to all your work.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years in manufacturing and new product development.
- Technical Savvy: Experience in highvolume injection molding design is highly preferred as is proficiency in SolidWorks (ideally CSWP or CSWE certified).
- Industry Knowledge: Prior work in plumbing or roofing products is a big plus.
