We are now hiring forSEASONAL PARKS LABORERS to join our our Parks Department as seasonal staff.
WHAT YOULL DO: Play a key role in maintaining our parks! We have a variety of seasonal grounds positions available for this summer! Job tasks include mowing grass ballfield maintenance horticulture care (native and formal landscape areas) water route trail maintenance trash collection and tree care.
WHAT YOULL BRING:
- You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois drivers license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend 95 of work time performing physical labor standing and/or walking.
WHEN YOULL WORK: MondayFriday 6:30 am 3:00 pm 40 hours/week) with potential for overtime. This is a short term opportunity available from April to November.
WHAT YOULL GET:
- Depending on experience the starting pay will be $16.50/hour based on qualifications.
- This position falls under Pay Grade D with a pay range of $15.25 $25.50.
