Job Function:
- Competent advice and sales of ourproducts.
- Fight off competition attacks andsecure the companys growth path.
- Maintain and improve relationshipswith existing customers.
- Build relationships with newcustomers.
- Fulfillment of the respective salesbudget.
- Pricing negotiations withcustomers
- Supply solutions Salesresponsibility for the respective sales area/customer base
New Business:
- Identify new business / growthopportunities and generate longterm contracted value for Our client in linewith set targets.
- Conduct effective potentialcustomer engagements.
- Strong understanding of companyproducts and services as well as business position and competition to keepbusiness competitive.
- Identify potential customerspains/objectives and effectively provide solutions through the companys products/services.
- Develop contact base with all newcustomers through Salesforce organisational structure mapping.
- Track identify and add qualifiedprospects to sales pipeline (Salesforce).
- Track and report on the status ofproposals / projects.
- Drive the endtoend sales process(through Salesforce).
- Secure sales volumes throughimplementation of contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with sales andproduction teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide trustworthy feedback andaftersales support.
Existing Customers:
- Management of daily relationshipwith set customers to ensure MPS is offering a high level of service in linewith agreed SLA objectives.
- Create network of contacts withinset customerbase.
- Establish and develop strongrelationships with customers.
- Review MPS sales against budgetfor set customers to ensure MPS is meeting budget. Act as required to ensurebudgets are being achieved.
- Perform crossselling activitiesto existing customers to assist in MPS sales performance and achieving salesbudget.
- Identify bundling opportunities toexpand existing business (increase share of wallet).
- Assist in Service Level Agreementdiscussions.
- Assist with customer proposals andpresentations.
- Attend customer review meetings ona monthly / quarterly basis.
- Ensure correct forecasting of Newpackaging to meet customers monthly requirements and to assist in productionplanning.
- Demonstrate valueadd services tocustomers.
- Identify packaging sourcingopportunities and act upon.
- Raise any areas of concernregarding service levels or any customer complaints with management immediately.
- Prompt addressing of customercomplaints to ensure they are resolved within company committed timeframes
Requirements
Skills & Competencies:
- University degree ortechnical/commercial focused apprenticeship
- Experienced with MS Office
- Pastel
- Salesforce
- Proficient English (isiZulu /Afrikaans beneficial)
- Packaging and market knowhow
- Minimum 4 years in Salespreferably in the packaging industry
- Handson mentality
- Selfinitiative

- Willingness to travel 50
