Overview
mustard is partnering with an established Hospitality Design Studio as they look to recruit a Junior Interior Designer to join their team in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have some experience working on commecial interior design projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the overall success of this design firm.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MidLevel and Senior Designers to develop innovative and functional design concepts
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation
- Research and select appropriate materials finishes and furniture for each project
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field
- 1 years of experience in a professional design environment
- Proficiency in industrystandard design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication time management and organisational skills
Daytoday
- Collaborating with the design team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts
- Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Researching and sourcing materials and furnishings
- Attending client meetings and presenting design proposals
- Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations and deadlines
