Matchwell is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) for one of our Acute Care partners in Richmond VA! See below for more details!
Salary Range: $48.00/hr $58.00/hr
Schedule: Contract
Position Requirements:
- Current and active PT License
- 2 years of acute care experience (LTAC Progressive Care Stepdown Medsurg or ICU)
- Current Tuberculosis screening
- Current ACLS BLS certifications
- Hepatitis B Influenza and COVID vaccinations or approved exemptions
- Latex Allergy Screening
- Background and Drug Screening
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
- Evaluate treat and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly
- Maintain open and respectful communication with coworkers physicians patients family members and thirdparty payors at all times
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager
