Warehouse Operations Manager Laverton North
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Resources and Industrials division based in Laverton North. Our Laverton North Site is a Dangerous & Hazardous Goods facility supporting several B2B customers. A fastpaced site driven by safety and compliance this facility services major ASX listed Chemical suppliers and manufacturers.
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you will:
Be responsible for ensuring that the operational day to day tasks across the Site are effectively managed.
Support the Business Manager by ensuring operational excellence as well as addressing customer queries promptly and ensuring they are resolved completely with relevant process and procedures to prevent any future reoccurrence.
Allocate people and assets to deliver on operational targets and service standards to meet the contractual obligations for all Warehouse activities and ensure other site functions Transport/AdminCS/OH&S are also delivering operationally.
Plan operational and workforce changes on a daily and weekly basis to ensure annual budgets are achieved together with sustainability in the highest standards of safety environmental performance and customer service.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
A least 5 years management experience in supply chain logistics or related industry.
Strong customer service orientation excellent understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and what adds value to them.
Sound knowledge of personnel and operational requirements relating to training and compliance.
Sound incident management/investigation skills ability to determine root cause and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Proficient in Systems : WMS MS Office SharePoint
Strong People Management with demonstrated capability to coach and mentor
