Our Graduate or Undergraduates

As a Graduate or Undergraduate Accountant in our Audit or Business Services departments you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of accounting tasks. This role is designed to provide handson experience and exposure to realworld accounting scenarios helping you develop the skills needed to excel in your accounting career.

Working hours fo the role(s) vary between 3 to 5 days a week depending on the department. Please be sure to clearly state your availability in your cover letter.

Key responsibilities

Audit Department

  • Participate in SMSF audits
  • Assist in conducting financial statement reviews and verification procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior auditors to analyse financial data and assess internal controls.
  • Help prepare comprehensive audit reports and recommendations for clients.

Business Services Department

  • Assist in preparing financial statements tax returns and other compliancerelated documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide valuable insights into clients financial performance.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve clients financial efficiency.
  • Gain exposure to various accounting software and tools used in business service

Who Were Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Accounting Commerce Finance or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accounting principles and practices through a strong academic record.
  • Willingness to undergo police check and preemployment aptitude testing.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Effective teamwork skills contributing seamlessly within collaborative environments.
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards continuous learning and knowledge expansion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Strong work ethic embedded in your professional approach.

Our commitment to the Bendigo Community is a top priority for us. While this position offers the convenience of hybrid work its essential to note that it is primarily based in Bendigo. As part of this role you will be expected to be in the office approximately two days a week and may occasionally travel to our clients premises in Bendigo and surrounds.
