Job Description

Overview:

Geotechnology a Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Building Code Compliance Environmental Occupational Health & Safety and Building Envelope.

To perform routine concrete laboratory testing at the request of the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager. The possibility of data reduction and boring log preparation exists for those with computer skills and the aptitude for data reduction.

Job Responsibilities:

Performssoilaggregateasphaltandconcretetesting.
Maintainslaboratoryequipmentandlaboratoryspaceinneatorder.
Assistsinloggingstorageanddisposalofsamples.
Performsotherdutiesasrequested.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma
Good oral and written communication skills including good technical writing capabilities
Ability to effectively use computers
Ability to use initiative and work independently within the limitations of experience
Knowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniques
Required to stand for long periods of time
