Job Description
Role Impact:
To provide dispatch communication toSecurity Guardsregarding incidents requests for assistance emergencies etc. and log details of radio transmission telephone calls and verbal instructions and to direct backup support as necessary and to provide indirect supervision of security officers.
What you will deliver:
- Dispatch Security Guards to incidents requests for assistance emergencies etc.
- Log details of radio transmission telephone calls and verbal instructions
- Direct backup support as necessary
- Inform management of major incidents
- Assist in maintenance of Card Index System
- Maintain the Camera Surveillance System
- Conduct security equipment audits
- Maintain key control lost and found and emergency contact lists
- Provide training and coaching on an adhoc basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
What your strengths are:
- A valid provincial Security License (if required)
- A Security Diploma or equivalent
- 34 years experience with a security firm or similar background
- A minimum of 2 years experience at retail and office mixed use complex
- A working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act
- The ability to function in a fastpaced environment
- A strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills oral and written
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (asset)
