Location Details: Remote India
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office fulltime others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days)and some work entirely remotely.
This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid youll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location (Gurugram or Pune) so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote youll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your hiring manager can share more about this roles hybrid or remote designation.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy and be at the heart of making valuable contributions for our customers and as a result grow our business. Can you solve large scale and crosscompany issues while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains front of mind We are searching for a Director of Security Engineering to apply handson technical skills strong leadership abilities and an eagerness to craft solutions to sophisticated problems. You must become comfortable with communicating to partners lead all aspects of security assessments and prioritizing security risks crafting/presenting highquality work. Embodying our values of outstanding customer focus owning outcomes joining forces working fearlessly and living passionately.
- Lead all aspects of Product and Offensive Security teams strategy for the entire company
- Partner with engineering teams to define years one and three product and penetration testing strategy
- Define the Security Engineering overarching strategy demonstrating a riskbased philosophy
- Monitor company risk reduction via the Product and Offensive Security metrics
- Use your validated experience to own and drive resolution and retesting of sophisticated security events policy questions and technical security risks
Your experience should include...
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive security engineering experience with expertise in multiple security domains included but not limited to Security Architecture Cryptography Network Security Cloud Security Mobile Security and Web Security
- Problemsolver with excellent interpersonal skills a deep technical understanding of security engineering processes and offensive security methodologies
- Experience leading companywide information security programs
- Experience in secure development lifecycle and shift left with a security by design methodology
- Scripting skills (e.g. Python C C Java Ruby or PowerShell)
- Experience applying security engineering methodologies that align with security and privacy compliance requirements
- Intuitively translates bigpicture goals to micro use cases with a strong focus on solving key problems to deliver simple solutions
You might also have...
- Bachelors/Masters Degree/PhD in Computer Science PhD or a related field
- Hosting Industry experience
