Watertown South Dakota
Join our team at Terex Utilities and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to contribute to the Terex Utilities team in Watertown SD.

What youll do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on all equipment.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and follow up with root cause analysis.
- Support all facility maintenance needs as assigned.
- Use schematics and technical materials as needed.
- Create and modify work orders using computerized maintenance software
- Work overtime and respond to emergencies outside of normal shift as required.
- All other duties as assigned
What youll bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of maintenance experience
- Associates Degree or Technical / Trade school certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical electrical 480V 3phase) low voltage control systems pneumatic devices and systems preferred.
- Experience programming VFDs and PLCs preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHAs requirements for working in an industrial setting.
- Committed to working safely and the safety of other team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift 10 to 40 pounds of force frequently may include pushing pulling and lifting
- Ability to 40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects
- Ability to stand on concrete for 10 hours per shift
- Ability to possess good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to effectively communicate with all team members
- Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a responsible manner
- Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to minimize risks
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information
- Ability to have acceptable attendance for company standard; provides adequate notification; aware of impact on organization

The salary range for this position is $22.00 $30.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience certifications etc.
