Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid drivers license. One to five years of experience is normally required. Strong verbal written analytical and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to pass a background check physical exam and drug screening test.
JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for shipping receiving and prepping rental equipment along with other yard duties. Performs minor maintenance repairs and reconditioning of all rental products serviced by Stowers Machinery Corporation with limited or no supervision. Must have potential to be able to work with immediate supervisor as lead when called upon to assign and supervise the work of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follows directions accurately and performs tasks in an efficient time while working with little to no supervision.
Work performed is mistake and errorfree.
Accepts responsibility for own work and understands the impact of this work on the company.
Capable of inspecting machines and determining parts reusability and developing parts and material lists as needed with no supervision.
Shows interest in own work.
Has knowledge of test equipment and procedures and is capable of making repair decisions and setting up jobs with no supervision.
Prepared to purchase hand tools as required to perform the job.
Properly safeguard all tools. Keeps an updated itemized record of employeeowned tools on file which includes pictures and cost of tools and toolbox.
Completes service reports at the completion of each job and ensures accuracy of reports with little to no assistance from supervisor.
Completes job time cards completely and accurately as jobs are finished daily.
Orders all parts and charges time to the proper work order and segments.
Writes and communicates clearly and accurately.
Orders parts accurately with little to no supervision to minimize parts returns.
Handles all parts returns and core credits in accordance with company policies.

- Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules including maintaining a safe clean and orderly work area fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
- Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including protective glasses protective gloves and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

- Respond to all customer requests in a professional and courteous timely and responsive manner.
- Maintain a clean professional personal appearance at all times meeting all Company standards for professionalism.
- Keep the Manager continually apprised to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.

- Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles including a current valid drivers license issued by the resident State.
Physical Requirements
- Pass a preemployment background check physical exam including drug screen and meet all physical requirements for the position.
- Able to lift 2070 pounds occasionally. And push or pull up to 100 pounds.
