Job Description
Perform all duties associated within a clinical laboratory. Provide accurate and prompt reports to Schiffert Health Center staff. Maintain courteous and professional attitude to SHC patients.
Required Qualifications
ASCP Certified National certification and registry with an accredited agency.
CLIA or COLA Deemed Status standards are acceptable.
Demonstrated knowledge of methodologies in all laboratory sections and proper technique in all phases of laboratory science.
Previous experience performing phlebotomy and processing / preparing specimens according to established procedures.
Previous experience with complex proficiency testing and laboratory analysis as per CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act) requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot instruments.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a complex lab environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with laboratory software programs.
