Job Description
Falk College is seeking a parttime instructor to teach HFS 652 Sec. U800 Mindfulness in Children & Youth(3 credits) in the Summer 2024 5/13/20248/23/2024 semester. Course Description: Importance of mindfulness for optimal development in children and youth; school and communitybased interventions that target mindfulness; mindful parenting. Additional work required of graduate students. Class meets: Online asynchronous.
Responsibilities
Developing and/or updating a class syllabus. Preparation of lectures projects or other student assignments. Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours. Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course. Meeting all designated class periods. Submitting completed midsemester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations. Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner. Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations. Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
Qualifications
Ph.D. required.
