Position Overview

As a Professional Caregiver with Senior Helpers Indianapolis youll provide essential support to seniors in their homes helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Our caregivers are the heart of our business making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families each day.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care (bathing grooming dressing)
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Help with light housekeeping laundry and maintaining a clean environment
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Transport clients to appointments and social activities
• Engage clients in cognitive stimulation activities
• Document care provided during each shift

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature and genuine interest in helping seniors
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Previous professional caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
