We are currently hiring an Automotive Service Advisor in our Nanaimo Auto Service Centre.
As an Automotive Service Advisor youre a key player in every Members experience when they entrust their vehicle to BCAA for repairs. From the time an appointment is booked through to its handover back to the Member youre responsible for the Member relationship. Youre an excellent listener can manage conflict should it arise and can translate technical information to members in a manner they will understand.

What you bring
A minimum of two 2 years of experience in the automotive field as a Service Advisor Service Writer or Automotive Parts Advisor.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
Ability to lift 50 lbs 23 kg) bend reach walk and stand for long periods of time.
Once here you will
Greet and checkin customers entering your BCAA Automotive Service Centre
Act as each Members trusted advisor when discussing needed repairs costs schedule timeline and preventative maintenance.
Provide repair estimates and receive Member approval for work to be performed finalize sales and complete customer follow up after the repaired vehicle has left the shop.
Book and maintain the appointment schedule.
Ensure ongoing and accurate communication among team members involved with any repair.
Perform shipping/receiving duties and assist in handling the flow of parts throughout the facility.
Maintain a solid understanding of all BCAA products best practices standards policies and systems as well as industry knowledge and competitors offerings.

The salary range for this position is $45406.32 to $56757.84and is determined viajobrelated knowledge skills experience certifications market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9 with the opportunity to earn up to 15.
