Pay Rate: $15.50
SHIFTS:
2nd Shift M F 3pm11pm 40 hours per week/ additional $1.50 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Works anywhere in the plant as needed.
- Performs work as directed by supervision.
- Keeps the work area clean and organized.
- Moves glass from one rack to another to prepare for shipment.
- May spray powder between the panels of glass.
- Repeats the process until the rack is full.
- Secures the glass with binding honeycomb strips and corner boards.
- Work elsewhere as directed by supervision.
- Reads and comprehends safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals along with other similar documents.
- Requires the need to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Requires the ability to read a tape measure to 16ths.
- Requires standing all day.
- Produces a quality product in a timely manner.
- Wears all the required personal protective equipment for the specific job.
- Works as a Cardinal team member not a specific department member.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Glass Handlers are expected to handle glass up to 50 pounds by themselves and any glass over 50 pounds requires at least two people working together.
