JOB SUMMARY:
Under administrative supervision this position leads strategic development implementation and management of programs that aim to train and equip individuals with the skills necessary for careers in manufacturing. Duties include identification and employment of broad spectrum of solutions to meet the mission and goals the Center for Ballistics and the Advanced Manufacturing Hub.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the Center in the development of skilled workforce skilled in production of ballistic materials and structures. Design and develop workforce training programs that align with industry needs in manufacturing ensuring that the curriculum reflects current trends technologies and skills required by employers. Oversee the implementation of training programs workshops and certification courses to equip participants with relevant skills. Plan design promote implement and when necessary teach professional development programs for the incumbent workforce college faculty and K12 educators.
Lead efforts to market and promote the Centers programs to prospective students employers and community partners. Develop marketing materials including brochures website content and social media campaigns to raise awareness of the Centers offerings. Attend and speak at schools community events and other venues to promote the center and its workforce initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing companies industry organizations and trade associations to understand workforce needs and develop partnerships for training opportunities.
Collaborate with local regional and national manufacturers to identify skill gaps and create targeted workforce solutions.
Prepare regular reports on program performance including enrollment numbers completion rates job placement statistics and budget updates. Use data to make informed decisions on program improvements resource allocation and partnerships. Present program outcomes and progress to institutional leadership industry partners and funding agencies. Provide leadership in developing robust evaluation programs to ensure the success of the Center.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an ability to sit stand walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twentyfive 25 pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax calculator telephone and other equipment as necessary.
