Sr Staff Accountant
The Sr. Staff Accountant will support the Sr. Accounting Manager with monthend close activities internal controls acquisitions/divestments and special accounting projects. This role will be a hybrid role requiring two days each week in our Las Colinas office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare review and record significant periodend and quarterly journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance with close deadlines.
- Reconcile the subledger to the general ledger analyze any variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with the quarterly audit process by preparing detailed reports and gathering requested sample items.
- Maintain and understand the processes related to our subledger
- Contribute to adhoc analysis preparation and respond to managements requests for information.
- Independently manage assigned responsibilities and effectively handle workload in a deadlinedriven environment.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
About You
- Possess a working knowledge of the General Ledger (GL) system and its subsytems
- Working knowledge of Office 365 applications (particularly Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
- High degree of analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills; deadline oriented and ability to prioritize/multitask
- Demonstrated ability to work well with teams facilitate and lead a project to completion
- BBA in Business or Accounting required
- 02 years of relevant experience
