Job Description

Position type: Exempt

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Coordinates and leads CNC training program in accordance with local and global strategy.
  • Provides instruction based off established curriculum to preselected students / employees.
  • Identifies additional training opportunities and invites subject matter experts to lead course content including machine tool / tooling suppliers.
  • Ensures student / employee engagement in training content through active communication and genuine interest in each participants success.
  • Maintain records of student / employee performance including test administration and posting of grades / certificates.
  • Evaluate current industry standards and implement best practices as appropriate and /or adjust program content to meet customer requirements.
  • Present program details challenges success to identified stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage an effective learning environment to drive a high skill set of CNC Machining
  • Maintains budget investments and purchasing of supplies needed for CNC Training Program
  • Collaborates with Vocational Schools and local technical program to promote opportunities within Plansee and training center

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong commitment to program success with proven leadership skills and values.
  • High degree of organization and time management skills.
  • A twoyear degree or certification in machine technology a plus. Five 5 years experience in precision machining/tool & die making.
  • Working knowledge of production planning techniques such as MRP and shop floor control.
  • Proficiency in programming/editing CNC equipment.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and MRP system.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
