Job Responsibilities
- Provide instruction demonstration leadership and supervision of aquatic classes.
- Monitor benefits risks contraindications and side effects with participants of aquatic classes.
- Maintain cleanliness neatness and safety of aquatic environment facilities and department.
- Maintain participant release forms and attendance records.
- Evaluate the learning needs and capabilities of aquatic participants and initiate corrective feedback in a timely and positive manner relative to age and physical skill level.
- Maintain confidentiality and personal protected information.
- Orient instruct and direct work activities of newly hired personnel as appropriate and available.
- Participate in referral development marketing and relationship building with physicians hospital personnel and external agencies.
- Participate in policy and procedure development and performance improvement initiatives related to aquatic classes.
- Comply with all applicable policies and procedures including but not limited to all departmental and functional policies and procedures maintain acceptable attendance records arrive for duty punctually and follow dress code.
- Attend mandatory inservice education programs and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Minium: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Requirements
Minimum: 12 years experience as an Aquatics Instructor
License/Certification Requirements
