Job Description
The purpose of this position is to assist in recruiting and coaching student athletes scheduling and directing workouts practices and games for the womens soccer team according to the NJCAA and Iowa Community College Athletic Conference ICCAC rules and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES : Supports the daytoday operations of the team by assisting with recruiting practices scheduling and preparing for games. Processes names of prospective participants for the purpose of developing an eligibility list. Provides an environment for successful recruitment and retention of student athletes. Supports the development of student athletes success in the classroom and in their respective sport. Obtains inventory of equipment and supplies and assists with their distribution and management. Provides game day management and transportation to events. Assists with program and department fundraising. Communicates effectively orally and in writing to a diverse population of students. Advance and advocate a campus climate that values diversity equity inclusion and belonging. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. This is a parttime position. PAY : Stipend of $15000
Required Qualifications
Experience coaching applicable sport at the high school or college level. High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds. State of Iowa coaching authorization or ability to obtain. Valid drivers license. Commercial Drivers License preferred or willing to obtain.
