Job Description

Qualified Cryogenic systems engineers will have experience and specific technical knowledge of atleast twoof the followingresponsibilities:

  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Championing process improvement activities.
  • Establishing and analyzing test procedures.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installs and qualification.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for tracking test assets and develop a plan for periodic review of assets activity (e.g. in use idle at calibration needs repair/upgrade awaiting final disposition etc. across multiple labs.
  • Provide a monthly report on the status of all assets to the program offices as required.

This position can be filled at the Associate Cryogenic Systems Engineer level OR the Cryogenic Systems Engineer level. Qualifications for both listed below.

Basic Qualifications for Associate Cryogenic Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical area (BSEE or other Engineering discipline preferred) with 6 months of relevant experience with cryogenic microwave test.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic test systems
  • Cabling and Rack installation/cybersystem integration experience.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI/FS poly clearance per business requirements

Basic Qualifications for Cryogenic Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science Technology Engineering Math) such as Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or Physics with 2 years of related experience or a Masters Degree.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to team members both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic test systems.
  • Cabling and Rack installation/cybersystem integration experience.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI/FS poly clearance per business requirements.
