ABOUT US
Lighthouse provides therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by longterm neglect abuse and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where young people can feel safe form meaningful relationships and begin to heal.
All Lighthouse programs are underpinned by an evidencebased therapeutic model of care called the Lighthouse Model of Care (LMC). The LMC integrates traumainformed practice attachment theory and psychoanalytic principles of emotional development to create a holistic therapeutic treatment environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role provides therapeutic care to enrich the safety attachment and physical and emotional development for traumaimpacted children and young people living in a residential setting.
The role is to provide high quality daytoday therapeutic care act as a positive role model and supervise the children and young people who live in the home. Although the role comes with its challenges it is highly rewarding and you will play an integral part in a community that brings positive change to a young persons life.
This model works on a 24/7 roster where there are night shifts seven days a week.
