Job Description
An Outstanding Girls school in Harrow is seeking an enthusiastic and wellinformed Business Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The successful Business Teacher will inspire female students in Key Stages 4 and 5 with the principles and practices of the business world.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging Business Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Prepare students effectively for examinations in Business Studies ensuring a solid grasp of key concepts.
- Develop students understanding of business operations strategies and the economic environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress in business providing helpful and constructive feedback as a Business Teacher.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the business studies curriculum and relevant resources.
- Encourage an interest in entrepreneurship and the application of business principles.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Business Studies.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Business Studies at the secondary level including Key Stage 5.
- A strong understanding of business theory and current commercial trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of making business concepts accessible as a Business Teacher.
- Ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential in business studies.
- A commitment to collaborative work and a supportive approach within the school community.
