Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Tutor with expertise in teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IB Mathematics curriculum the ability to engage students and a commitment to fostering academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality Mathematics lessons aligned with the IBDP and MYP frameworks.
- Design lesson plans and activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Provide personalized support to help students grasp complex concepts and improve performance.
- Prepare students for internal assessments external examinations and Extended Essays in Mathematics.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with students parents and the school team to ensure holistic academic growth.
- Stay updated with IB curriculum changes and best teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching IB Mathematics (DP & MYP).
- Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum including topics such as Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Applications & Interpretation (AI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual and inperson teaching.
Preferred Skills
- IB Certified training in IBDP or MYP Mathematics.
- Experience guiding students in Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for students.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
