Job Description

Performs a variety of batched laboratory tests and reports data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. The medical laboratory technologist may perform laboratory procedures across the major areas of the laboratory including microbiology and infectious disease serology.
Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school. Twofive years of experience as a Medical Technologist. Meets the requirements and qualifies as a technologist under CFR 493.1433 CLIA laboratory regulations published MarchFR 9538. National certification eligible by NCA ASCP or HEW. Sufficient previous experience in all areas of the laboratory.
