Introduction

Position: Managed Care Operations Manager

Location: Johannesburg

Type: Fulltime Onsite

REF: MVG/Ops

Middle Management Operational Leadership Opportunity in Healthcare

Medical & Health Industry Leading Managed Care Provider

MVG Recruitment Specialists is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to recruit a dynamic Operational Leader who will drive strategic and operational excellence. This role focuses on delivering highquality patientcentred care while ensuring compliance risk management and financial sustainability within a Closed Schemes environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with legal statutory and regulatory requirements

Oversee financial management identifying costsaving opportunities

Develop and implement operational plans to enhance service delivery

Lead and support a highperforming team to drive operational efficiency

Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to improve patient care outcomes

Previous experience managing care teams within a managed care environment essential (PreAuth/ Case Management/ Escalated Queries)

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree / NQF Level 7 Clinical qualification with an Advanced Diploma

Current registration with SANC/ HPCSA essential

6 years of experience in the Medical & Health industry

35 years in Operational Leadership & Management

Proven expertise in Quality Assurance Risk Management and Workforce Planning
