Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Under close supervision and within established departmental and hospital policies and procedures is responsible performing a variety of general technical research clerical or professional duties to support research activities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in data entry and verification for various studies
Assist in data collection retrieval and storage tasks
Does data analysis and modeling work
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active and enrolled in High School or a College or University degree program required.
- Interest in a health care or scientific research field is strongly preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Skills in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and in MatLab required.
Some math statistics or programming background or coursework preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Variety of laboratory /office settings
May require carrying and lifting of specimens and supplies and the pushing and pulling cart of specimens or supplies.
