Job Description
Experience as a Staff Nurse in the cardiac catheterization lab setting current MA RN license and familiarity with basic MicrosoftOffice programs is required.

Under general direction of Cardiac CatheterizationLaboratory and Invasive Cardiovascular Service Directors and direct supervisionof the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Information Systems Director managesthe data collection on invasive cardiovascular procedures. Maintains strongintegration with other nurse practitioners physician assistances fellowsattending MDs and referring MDs offices.
Performs continuous quality monitoring of the invasivecardiovascular procedures reporting in Apollo cardiovascular database. Tracksincomplete reports and works with fellows and attending MDs to completereports. Performs data entry when needed.
Trains new fellows and attending MDs in the data entrytechniques.
Supervises the inhospital outcome data collection andfacilitates the completeness of the outcome records. Performs telephonefollowup when required.
Performs database data quality checks against patient chartsand discharge summaries.
Provides the feedback for the further database developmentparticipates in the implementing the new features in the database design.
Uses the database to obtain and provide the statistical datafor the M&M conferences Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory management andcardiology management.
Helps to design new database queries and reports byproducing the feedback and evaluating the impact of existing procedures.
