Job Description

The Lead Distribution Technician is an integral member of the health care team providing patient equipment supplies and information transportation clerical and equipment coordination services to patients and coworkers. The Lead Distribution Technician interacts with patients families Nursing and a variety of interdisciplinary personnel and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills and maintains a high standard of confidentiality. 40 Hoursday shift.High school graduate with 1 or 2 years of college preferred. 12 months experience in a health care distribution setting. Familiarity with invoices purchase orders and Inventory Control preferred. Good reading and exemplary verbal communication skills in the English language. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively problem solve get along with others and confront issues appropriately. Heartsaver CPR certification required within 3 months from date of hire. Knowledge of special needs and behaviors or infant child adolescent adult and older adult patients preferred.
