Job Description

100 Remote Position

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Contract Attorney to join our clients Diminished Value team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in insurance law property damage claims or personal injury litigation. This role involves evaluating diminished value claims drafting demand letters negotiating with insurance adjusters and supporting litigation efforts when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze client files accident reports repair estimates and appraisal documentation.

  • Draft and send demand letters to insurance companies.

  • Negotiate settlements for diminished value claims.

  • Maintain communication with clients regarding the status of their cases.

  • Prepare case files for litigation when necessary.

  • Support attorneys in hearings or mediations related to diminished value claims.

  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and internal case protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Texas

  • 3 years of experience in insurance personal injury or property damage law preferred.

  • Strong legal writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

  • Prior experience with diminished value claims is a must.
