Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant at Mitchell Volkswagen is a fulltime position in the auto industry located in Simsbury Connecticut. As an individual contributor the Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling new and preowned vehicles to customers and providing excellent customer service. This is a fastpaced and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of automobiles and sales techniques.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Sales Consultant position offers a competitive base salary plus commission providing an opportunity for unlimited earning potential. Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a timely and professional manner
Understand and effectively communicate product features pricing and incentives to customers
Conduct vehicle test drives and promote vehicle features and benefits
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and objectives
Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and follow up with potential leads
Assist with vehicle deliveries and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process
Continuously stay updated on product knowledge current sales promotions and industry trends
Collaborate with team members and management to improve sales strategies and dealership processes
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Minimum of 12 years of sales experience preferably in the automotive industry
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and maintain customer satisfaction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in using CRM software and other computer applications
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening
