Supervises the civil trial assistants and the minor court management staff.
Oversees the assignment of all civil and Central Court cases.
Contact person for Common Pleas judges regarding full bench recusals and related issues.
Ensures that any filings sent to the are addressed properly and in a timely manner.
Manages Orphans Court issues including guardianship and estate matters.
Collaborates with the Jury Board Room on civil trial lists particularly for complex civil cases such as medical malpractice and product liability.
Supervises the Civil Mediation Hearing Officer reviews their performance monthly and ensures proper utilization by civil court judges.
Serves as the Right to Know Officer handling any appeals from initial Right to Know request denials.
Develops policies and procedures for the electronic assignment of cases.
Acts as a liaison between the MDJs the District Court Administrator and the President Judge.
Bachelors degree in Judicial Business or Public Administration or a closely related field; PLUS
Three years of experience in court management or four years of varied office management work including professionallevel experience in budgeting procurement and human resource management.
An equivalent combination of education experience and/or training may be considered.
Satisfactory criminal background check required.
A Juris Doctorate is strongly preferred.
Experience and knowledge of the law in aspects of Orphans Court including estate administration and guardianships is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of IQS Solutions preferred.
