Job Description
IKO is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilitiesworldwide we are currently seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team of skilledprofessionals based at our Clay Hill FL plant. This plant produces premium roofingshingles and composite rolled roofing in a high speed continuous asphalt shinglemanufacturing process environment. The successful candidate will be fully qualified andable to maximize plant performance and run time through troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches relays circuit breakers and fuse disconnects.
Manage assigned work orders.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
Work in a team setting with other maintenance personnel.
Work with computers line drive and PLCs
Ability to run conduit and knowledge of relevant codes.
Understand and comply with all safety rules including Lock Tag and Verify.
Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics.
Organize work area tools and parts.
Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities.
The position is subject to 24hour call out; shift and weekend work.
Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work high up.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting.
Associates Degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or Licensed Electrician.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives Relay Logic PLCs and Programming.
Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits.
Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters.
Must be able to work with computer based maintenance software.
Possess superior ytical and troubleshooting skills
Starting at: $30.41 per hour.
