Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineering professional to join our Water Resources team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on wastewater drinking water and/or stormwater projects. Project management experience would be a plus for this role. Candidates with a higher level of experience are welcome to apply.

In this position the candidate will:
- Work as a project engineer and/or project manager with responsibility for wastewater drinking water and stormwater projects.
- May supervise work groups which include engineers and/or technicians.
- Ensure project designs are in conformance with the latest design specifications.
- Perform design quantity computations and checks.
- Plans schedules or coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for projects.
- Provide mentorship to junior level staff.
- Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department.
- Read and interpret schematic and construction plans.
- Apply a variety of specification regulations policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal State and local rules and regulations.
- Review operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other applicable engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- 7 years of experience in this discipline
- Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater drinking water and/or stormwater design projects
- Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
