Job Description
RPO Recruitment is seeking a talented R&D Polymer Scientist to join our client in Pinetown KZN. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in polymer research and development contributing to innovative solutions within the industry. Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development on polymer formulations and applications
- Develop and improve resinbased products to meet industry and client needs
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis to evaluate polymer performance
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to implement new product developments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to polymer processing
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of research findings and product developments
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Polymer Science Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in polymer research and development
- Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry resin formulation and material properties
- Handson experience with laboratory testing and analytical techniques
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced R&D environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and innovation
