General Overview:
McLean Child Care Center one of five child care programs operated by Partners Health Care System is looking for an experienced Site Director.
Located on the spacious grounds of the McLean Hospital campus the Center serves both McLean employees and families from the community.
Interested candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Masters degree a plus) EEC Director I certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role. The position of Director would begin as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide vision leadership mentoring and supervision to staff
Oversee staff professional development and program curriculum
Oversee and monitor budget payroll and enrollment operations
Manage the design implementation and evaluation of curriculum
Report to the Director of Child Care Services at Partners
Work collaboratively with other Partners child care centers
McLean Child Care Center is a nonprofit center and enrolls 45 children within 4 classrooms. The Center strives to meet the needs and interests of each child and believes in learning that is playbased selfdirected and teacher supported through a developmentally appropriate curriculum. The teaching staff of 12 are experienced and dedicated; many have been at the Center for over 10 years.
