Education/Degree
- Minimum of Associates degree in Rehabilitationdiscipline required.
Preferred
- Advanceddegree in therapy or management preferred.
Experience
- Minimumof 5 years direct patient care experience preferably in outpatientrehabilitation setting.
- Previoussupervisory experience in one of the following capacities: supervisor clinicalinstructor or supervisor of therapy aides/assistants under the guidance of atherapist supervisor.
Licensure
- Currentlicense in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by theBoard of Allied Health Professions.
Skills(Specificlearned activity gained through training (e.g. computer skills keyboardingpresentation CPR ACLS etc.
- Safelyexecute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self orpatients. Demonstrates the ability toassess and interact with patients and families using the theories of humangrowth and development family systems and cultural background.
- Computer proficiency required. Microsoft office applications preferred withability to learn new software.

Summary
Manageoperational clinical fiscal marketing human resource management and qualitymanagement responsibilities for the outpatient center. Participate in quality improvement andprogram development activities. Provideconsultative services to therapists to achieve stated goals for performance. Participate in development and assurance ofgeneral and program specific competencies as it relates to the patient population served. Assume a leadership role for the marketinghuman resource management and quality management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

- Patient care is provided as needed per Physical TherapistOccupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist job description.
- Therapists are mentored to achieve professional standards ofpractice per network and facility policies and procedures.

- Quality of care goals are communicated progress continuouslymonitored resources secured and improvement action plans implemented.
- Rehabilitation liaison services provided for medical practicesupport operations to achieve department objectives.
- Appointment scheduling and registration processes are establishedand maintained to achieve efficiency and customer service goals.
- Patient satisfaction and productivity goals are managed andachieved. Gaps are identified and improvementplans are put in place.
- Program evaluation utilization review and quality improvementstudies are supervised and action plans implemented.
- Staff and physician billing are monitored for accuracy andcompliance with third party requirements.
- Strategic planning input is provided to achieve department andorganization goals.
- Overall educational needs of staff are identified and prioritiesare determined and implemented.
- Program based marketing plan is developed with key stakeholdersroutinely evaluated and improved.
- Program based marketing efforts are supported to achieve statedobjectives.

Required Experience:
Manager
