Job Description

Nursing student will have completed Foundations of Nursing in addition to first clinical rotation. Interested students should forward a cover letter and resume for review. Cover letter must include area of interest as well as the shift preference. Nursing students should have at least two written clinical references at the time of interview.

* Please note this position is reserved for Northeastern students enrolled in a Nursing program.
Nursing students functions under the direction of the RN and as a member of the unitbased patient care team. The Nursing student will support the RN with clinical tasks including but not limited to vital signs blood pressure EKGs intake/output glucometry guaic check and dressing changes. Nonclinical duties will include but are not limited to escorting patients/families upon being discharged from unit. Transporting patients and/or equipment to other areas of the hospital when needed. Maintaining patient rooms.

Rotating Shift.This is a Per diem position.
