Job Description
ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible transporting residents and for the maintenance and upkeep of programs vehicles.
Salary: $34307
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transports residents via the programs vehicles to and from various social services agencies and recreational events as needed in addition to providing transportation for staff of official business.
- Maintains logs; i.e mileage destinations.
- Review Daily Safety Inspection sheets for specific problems noted requiring followup.
- Ensure the sanitary and safe conditions of the facility.
- Maintains yard and outside area of residential property.
- Maintains and secures adequate tools and supplies necessary to perform assigned duties.
- Assists/completes related tasks as requested.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Two years work experience in capacity of maintenance worker.
- Basic knowledge of Computers which includes Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to follow instructions and perform routine cleaning and minor facility repairs. Indoor; Outdoors; noisy; minor burns cuts bites or stings; standing; stooping; kneeling; walking and running; using hands on objects tools or controls. Frequently lift and / or move more than 50 pounds. Travel between sites that are located throughout New York City. Other job characteristics need to be exact or accurate repeat same tasks; errors have important consequences.
