Finance Process Change Specialist

Due to continuing growth and development of Merlins attractions and brands on a global scale we are looking for a Finance Process Change Specialist to join our Finance team on a 12month fixedterm basis. The role will be based in Basingstoke with just 3 days per week in the office.

As a Finance Process Change Specialist youll play a critical role in Merlins Finance Transformation Programme. From streamlining P2P processes to enhancing finance business partnering your knowledge will help us:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

• Spot inefficiencies and craft clear actionable solutions.
• Document user stories and design process flows.

Solution Design & Recommendations:

• Brainstorm and create innovative solutions.
• Build financial models reports and streamlined processes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with diverse finance teams across the business.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Deliver faster insights with cuttingedge dashboards and reports.
• Identify trends and opportunities using your analytical skills.

Testing Training and Support:

• Ensure smooth rollouts with thorough testing and training.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure solutions remain impactful.

#LIHybrid

• You must be a FullyQualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with no exams left to take
• Experience in delivering finance process improvement initiatives is essential
• This is a handson role so experience in working with multiple finance systems (preferably NetSuite) with strong Microsoft excel is essential
• Analytical decisionmaking with a focus on value creation use insight to seek out opportunities
• Proactive questioning and constructive challenge
• Confident in your ability to learn new systems and get up to speed quickly
• Have a high level of diligence without losing sight of the overall outcome
• An adaptable and initiativetaking individual with a strong record of delivering results under pressure with tight deadlines
• Open to innovation and alternative approaches not confined to what has always been done in the past
• Good presentation skills ability to present complex data / scenarios cleanly and simply
• Understanding of process efficiency and quality methodologies desirable e.g. Lean / Six Sigma
• Resilience & Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fastpaced everevolving environment
• This role may involve occasional travel to different office locations
• Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet project deadlines or collaborate with teams in different time zones
