Job Summary

Gluware is hiring a Regional Sales Director to join our team. This is a fulltime position that is 100 remote but must reside on the East Coast. As a Regional Sales Director on the Gluware team you will serve as the first and primary business contact for the customer. The Sales Director is expected to consistently meet or exceed sales targets provide excellent customer service to accounts create pipelines in conjunction with our demand generation team and represent client needs and goals within the organization. Your focus is to build relationships with clients and to close new and repeat business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have prior relationships with decision makers and influencers in our target markets.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and pursue opportunities for new business growing Glues base of qualified leads and establishing a robust funnel of new business opportunities
  • Develop annual business plans and opportunity close plans in conjunction with Gluwares SVP of Sales and other team members
  • Successfully lead consultative sales with IT executives and make recommendations regarding the various solutions the company offers to address their business needs
  • Create effective proposal presentations RFP Responses and customer pricing models working collaboratively with the Gluware team and channel partners as appropriate
  • Identify and build effective relationships within customer accounts with partners and with other professionals to maximize revenue and build sales opportunities
  • Works closely with the Service Delivery team including Solutions Architects to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project


Qualifications:

  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Proven success selling Cisco or other major networking vendors hardware and or solutions either from the vendor partner or systems integrator or proven success selling Enterprise Software Cloud Solutions and/or SaaS services
  • Significant and current rolodex of enterprise and midmarket business and IT decision makers and partners
  • Technical competence (understand networking SDN software cloud computing etc.
  • Executive level presentation experience within customer accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload respond quickly to changes and work in a dynamic environment with the drive and determination to succeed
  • Excellent oral and written communication interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
  • High level of initiative and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
