We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished prosecutor for a Managerial Position in our Public Bureau.
The Public Bureau investigates and prosecutes crimes committed by public servants and other public officials. It also investigates allegations against civilians who attempt to subvert the integrity of public servants by offering bribes.
The bureau investigates complaints from the public and works together with the New York City Police Departments Internal Affairs Bureau the State Grievance Committees Appellate Division the City Department of Investigation and a host of other agencies on a state and federal level to safeguard the public from allegations.

Qualifications: Candidates should have extensive experience investigating and trying complex and challenging cases and have a record of successfully negotiating and dealing with the glare and pressure of intense media scrutiny.

Salary and title will be commensurate with experience. The salary range is from $129000 to $175000.
Pursuant to Public Officers Law Section 31 United States citizenship is required of all Assistant District Attorneys upon commencement of their employment as is New York State residency.
